About Rachel
Rachel Manko Lutz grew up in Wolfville, and now practises law in Windsor, Nova Scotia.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Memorial University, and completed her Bachelor of Education at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, where she lived until 2020. She holds a Masters of Education in Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum Development, with a focus in Social Justice Education, and graduated from Queen's School of Law in 2021. She was called to the Bar in Nova Scotia in 2025.
Rachel has worked in the public school system in Ontario and Nova Scotia before moving to the not-for-profit sector, where she served adults with intellectual disabilities, children and youth, immigrants and refugees, and Mi'kmaq communities. She is the founder and Executive Director of the Newcomer Choir Association - Canada, and directs the Halifax Newcomer Choir, a singing group for those new in Halifax and locals who want to practice their English, and grow their community.
